Lake Sherwood is a well established Fort Collins neighborhood located south of Drake and west of Timberline. Lake Sherwood consists of 1/2 Duplexes, Townhomes and Single Family residences. Building started in Lake Sherwood in nineteen seventy with most construction completed by nineteen seventy nine. Homes in Lake Sherwood are in the 1200 to 3200 livable square foot range with mature trees and landscaping. Lake Sherwood has a pool, clubhouse, tennis courts and recreation area that is maintained by the HOA. Lake Sherwood is within easy driving distance to the Poudre River Trail on the Poudre River as well as Edora Park and the Epic Center in Edora Park and the Fort Collins Power Trail that abuts the neighborhood. There are many close shopping and dining opportunities within an easy drive from Lake Sherwood. To the immediate west at the Drake and Lemay intersection is the Scotch Pines Shopping Center with Sprouts Market and many other shops and dining establishments. The closest major shopping and Albertson's grocery store is located at the corner of Horsetooth and College at the Fort Collins Market Place and the newly renovated  Foothills Fashion Mall is minutes away. Head south on College a mile from the Fort Collins Market Place is the Harmony Market Place with an Home Depo, King Soopers and many other shopping and dinning establishments. West from the Harmony Market Place is the Fort Collins Shopping Center with a SAM's Club as many other shopping establishments. Lake Sherwood is not far from all Harmony Road shopping and dining as well as the new Front Range Village mall and all shopping and dining at the Timberline and Harmony intersection. Also at the Timberline and Harmony intersection is the Harmony Medical Center offering an array of medical services including Urgent Care. Recreational opportunities are close by as well. South Lemay Avenue is Warren Park and the Collindale Golf Course. Heading further south on South Lemay is the Southridge Golf Course as well as the fantastic Fossil Creek Park. Schools are Shepardson Elementary School, Boltz Middle School and Fort Collins High School.
